Ah, My Hero, The Heroes Story

Thor hits theater

This Friday November 8th the highly anticipated film hits the big screen; “Thor; The Dark World” Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Directed by Alan Taylor. Staring the sexy Australian mega start Chris Hemsworth, along with Natalie Portman, and Tom Hiddleston.

Kevin Feige comment to Hero Complex on his hit movie “The Avengers,” how he still knocks on wood each time he talks about the film. Sitting close to the action, watching Director Taylor oversee Chris Hemsworth through the final battle scenes for the super sequel film. The epic battle is being filmed at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.

Informing Hero Complex about the importance of CGI, mega-stars, and all important element of comedy. He also commented on the ever lasting, classic super villain for the film, Malekith. Played by Christopher Eccleston. Feige is quoted as saying to Hero Complex “This character, Malekith, is one of the classic Thor villains from one of our favorite periods of the comics, and we’ve taken him and reinterpreted him slightly to bring him into this film. We want somebody who can bring the character to life, bring him off the comic book page like Hemsworth [does with Thor]. He’s a spectacular actor {Christopher Eccleston} and has made this guy in a red cape and long blond hair who wields a hammer relatable, which is one of the most important things and one of the biggest challenges when it came to Thor.”

The New York Post is quoted as saying; ”These aren’t the kinds of epic battles where you have to break a sweat: A giant rock-monster approaches Thor and, with one swing of the Magic Mallet and a couple of snarky one-liners, it is reduced to gravel.”

Anne Marie from IMDB is quoted as saying; “And so the Great Marvel Experiment continues with the studio’s latest film, Thor: The Dark World. Marvel can be credited with doing something virtually unprecedented in Hollywood: creating an extended cinematic universe with many different intersecting films, characters, and plot lines.”

Each and every news platform out there is giving great reviews for this epic film and I have to agree. I watched the tuns of trailers they have out there to promote this super film. It draws you in. There’s hope of love, hope that brothers can and will finally get along, doubt that though and the evil that is trying to take away all the light and hope in the world, well in all the nine realms. It has an epic feel to it, much like “The Lord of The Rings” did before it came out to theaters. The excitement of the second part of Thor’s story. Only a few more days and people will flock to the theaters to watch this legendary tail of Thor; The Dark World.
