A university spokesperson said that students are encouraged to say something if they notice something, which was the case with the alleged gunman on the campus shuttle. “Everyone is safe,” added Assistant Vice President of Communication Camille Lepre.
The university was locked down for about two hours Wednesday night after reports of a man on campus with a gun. The school issued tweets to “shelter in place” and to identify two suspects, pictured on the shuttle.
