DiCaprio Did ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ Nude Sex Scenes Himself

Leonardo DiCaprioLeonardo DiCaprio, who stars as Jordan Belfort in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, recently told an interviewer that he did the nude sex scenes his character appears in himself.  At first it might seem like a fairly innocuous comment for the movies, where so much can be faked with the right angle and lighting and where ratings force certain shots to be impossible.

In actuality DiCaprio’s admission should start to excite fans of the 39-year-old actor, because the film does boast some steamy sex scenes that almost forced the movie into the dreaded NC-17 rating.

Already bubbling up on the internet is the buzz about an especially sensual scene which features DiCaprio, a beautiful woman, a candle and a dominatrix. Now keep in mind that everything you will see on screen will be DiCaprio.

“It was all me, pal,” DiCaprio said. But this “all” DiCaprio is talking about is not just movie acting. Some of it is actually a nude scene featuring all of DiCaprio’s body for which he did not use a statue or double of any kind.

DiCaprio said in the interview, “When you do a character like this, you have to go all out.” Certainly this kind of boldness qualifies as part of “all out.”  Initial movie buzz has generated an image of DiCaprio as being absolutely fabulous in the role and expected to get an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.

DiCaprio also spoke about the various types of explicit scenes he had to portray in the film which could potentially offend some of his fans. In The Wolf of Wall Street DiCaprio is seen as participating in S&M, orgies and other eye-popping maneuvers as a part of his role.

“You can’t think about yourself because it’s not me” DiCaprio said referring to his character Jordan Belfort. “It’s a depiction of somebody else.” DiCaprio also mentioned that when you tackle a role such as this one you have to be all in and willing to do everything you can to make it the best possible performance.

The nude sex scenes DiCaprio has admitted to doing himself in The Wolf of Wall Street can be seen on Christmas Day. The film, directed by Martin Scorsese and co-starring Jonah Hill, is a depiction of Jordan Belfort, a Wall Street criminal. The film is based on Belfort’s memoir, by the same title.

Belfort made millions of dollars by scamming friends and clients and was later sentenced on indictments of fraud and money laundering. The film sets up a nice contrast to Woody Allen’s earlier picture from this year Blue Jasmine, which depicted the fall from status of a Park Avenue socialite after her husband was indicted on similar charges.

The Wolf of Wall Street focuses more on the excess of Belfort’s lifestyle and the way he committed his crimes.

Any time DiCaprio or Scorsese’s names are mentioned around Oscar season there is a considerable amount of hype. Leonardo DiCaprio’s recent admission that he did all of The Wolf of Wall Street’s nude sex scenes himself, without a double, will only heighten the buzz surrounding this picture.
