A brush fire erupted near Glendora, CA early Thursday morning. Reports state the fire started at the foothills of Glendora about 5:50 a.m. and is now spreading rapidly across the area. This brush fire has already scalded 30 acres near Glendora Mountain Road and Colby Way and is spreading quickly into other areas. Local authorities have issued a voluntary evacuation to residents in Colby Mountain Way because their homes are now threatened by the brush fire.
Firefighters are on the scene repressing the fire the best way they can. Meanwhile, Azusa police have closed Garcia Trail due to the fire.
