DiCaprio Was Slapped Hard on ‘Wolf’ Set: Odd Reaction

Leonardo DiCaprioActors can get so far into their roles that they lose their frame of reference, apparently Leonardo DiCaprio already knows his. Sometimes it results in Oscars and other times it can be the cause of more disastrous outcomes. Margot Robbie found that out the hard way when she slapped Leonardo DiCaprio really hard on the set of The Wolf of Wall Street and got a pretty odd reaction from the movie star.

Robbie said in an interview that they were shooting a particularly emotional scene when her character was supposed to slap DiCaprio’s character Jordan Belfort hard in the face. Robbie plays Naomi, Belfort’s love interest in the film.

“I got a little lost in the moment,” Robbie said. “I slapped his face and said [expletive] you!”Robbie says that after that moment there was “stunned silence” until everyone started to laugh. She also says that she slapped him way harder than she was supposed to in the scene.

“I thought they were going to sue me,” Robbie said. She also said in the same interview that she went up to Dicaprio and “apologized profusely” to him, thinking that a movie star of his stature would probably not take such a hard slap as a light matter. But then, as Robbie tells it, she got an unbelievably odd reaction from the mega movie star.

“But Leo said, ‘That was brilliant. Hit me in the face again!” says Robbie telling the story of she slapped Dicaprio a little too hard in the face on the set of The Wolf of Wall Street but then got a very odd reaction.

DiCaprio has put a lot more than just his face on the line for Martin Scorsese’s new film The Wolf of Wall Street.  The actor also appears nude in the films sex scenes which are reported to be very kinky. He has received some criticism from fans about his involvement in some of these scenes. DiCaprio has said before though that he hopes fans will realize that is a character he is playing. It is not him doing those things but rather a character he is trying to bring to life on the screen.

Robbie also commented on what it was like to film those scenes with DiCaprio. Robbie called him “incredulous,” saying “We were positioned while they lit around us in one scene and I kind of pushed Leo’s head to one side and told him he was in my light and he moved out of it. He was so incredulous… he was like, ‘Did you really just do that?’”

Robbie also opened up about her diet and the problems it posses when you are an actress known for your on screen beauty. She said she loves to eat burger and fries and also to drink beer, but that then she will have to wear a bikini and will eat only carrot sticks for three days.

The Wolf of Wall Street is currently in theatres. A part from the steamy sex scenes fans can also watch Dicaprio get slapped in the face and think about the scene that occurred on set when Margot Robbie thought she would be sued but got an odd reaction from co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.

Why do you repeat essentially the same phrase four different times in this article (five if you count the title)? Are you really that bad a writer, or is English not your first language?
Paragraph # 1: Margot Robbie found that out the hard way when she slapped Leonardo DiCaprio really hard on the set of The Wolf of Wall Street and got a pretty odd reaction from the movie star.
Paragraph #4: But then, as Robbie tells it, she got an unbelievably odd reaction from the mega movie star.
Paragraph #5: …says Robbie telling the story of she slapped Dicaprio a little too hard in the face on the set of The Wolf of Wall Street but then got a very odd reaction.
Paragraph #9: A part from the steamy sex scenes fans can also watch Dicaprio get slapped in the face and think about the scene that occurred on set when Margot Robbie thought she would be sued but got an odd reaction from co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.

By the way, the word at the beginning of that sentence in paragraph #9 should be “apart.” In another case, you even repeat yourself within the same paragraph! If you look at paragraph #7, you’ll see that you introduce the quote about DiCaprio reacting with incredulity by stating that he was incredulous. You don’t even know what you’re writing half the time. You talk in circles. Go find another line of work so someone with actual talent can get paid to do your job and so readers aren’t forced to wade through a bunch of drivel just to enjoy a funny anecdote about a celebrity.
