The interim president of Egypt, Adly Mansour, has announced that transitional plan of the country would undergo amendment to ensure that presidential elections are held before the parliament polls this year.
The new constitutional rules will mandate the presidential voting to begin in the second half of April. The unrest in his country and the terrorists attacks against the police and military in the recent months has been disturbing the peace of the nation and an early polls should put to rest some of elements in the country working against the government.
A request for early elections will be placed to the election commission by Mansour and candidate registration would be quickly put into place to meet the deadline.
