No need to deport Justin Bieber as a recent petition suggests. According to the CBC, Bieber is now facing assault charges in Toronto.
Purportedly, Bieber is expected to arrive in Toronto later this evening. Assault charges are allegedly leveled against Bieber for a post-hockey game altercation involving a limousine driver. At the time of the December 29th incident, it was unclear whether it was the young pop star or a member of his entourage who was involved.
Bieber is apparently ready to surrender to police and face charges without further incident.
Although the assault charges are new, it is not the first time in recent days that Bieber has been involved with the police. Last week, Bieber was arrested by Miami Beach police for DUI, resisting arrest, and driving without a license. Furthermore, Beiber is accused in various altercations with his California neighbors involving alleged incidents of aggression, threats, and defacing property.
