Kim Kardashian will wed in Paris, the “City of Lights” for a summer wedding. At least that is what she hopes. Considered one of the most romantic cities in the world, the 33-year-old reality star and her fashion-forward fiancé, Kanye West consider the city their second home. When they were not sitting in the front rows during Paris’ couture week, the two were spotted exploring wedding venues.
Rumors recently swirled that the couple will say their vows at the Palace of Versailles, as pictures surfaced after their visit to the historical site. However, Kardashian quashed the rumors and told Jimmy Kimmel on his show Thursday night that they were “taking a tour” of the site.
Since the Palace of Versailles is not on her wedding venue list, the television personality should consider a castle instead. Thirty minutes south of Paris lays the Burgundy Domaine. The hiring of this castle is exclusive, so privacy is absolute. With 28 rooms, the couple’s reception would be in the main Renaissance-style building. The venue also features a 12th century vaulted wine cellar. Just add the swimming pool and movie stars and it is fit for a Kardashian.
As an alternative, the famed pair might prefer to have their nuptials in a French chateau. Dating back to the 15th century, the Chateau Lagorce is set within the Bordeaux countryside, slightly further from the “City of Lights.” Historically, the monumental steps of the chateau were specifically constructed for Napoleon’s visit on the inauguration of the Lord Mayor of Haux. The chateau features three south-facing terraces, with the historic steps leading down to the lake. The curvaceous starlet would look magnificent gliding down the staircase in a floor-length designer gown with a plunging neckline. Should Kardashian and rapper West wed in Paris, they have the option to say their “I Do’s” by the lake, on the chateau’s third terrace or in a private chapel.
With their imminent wedding looming in the near future, this star-studded event has to be beyond spectacular. On a grander scale, the lovebirds could follow in the footsteps of Vanisha Mittal, daughter of the second richest man in India. Estimates for her wedding ranged from $6o million to $78 million.
The couple got under way with an engagement ceremony at the Palace of Versailles. The wedding took place only a few miles away at the 17th century Chateau Vaux le Vicomte, said to be one of the most magnificent in France.
Kardashian and West would say their vows in the Salon des Muses, decorated by the French painter, Charles Le Brun. Kardashian can pose in her open-backed dress with its elaborate train against the backdrop of the magnificent gardens. The castle grounds were designed by the royal gardener, Andre Le Notre, who also designed the gardens of Versailles.
Wherever the two decide to have their extravagant wedding, they both are interested in the wedding plan process. Whether it is against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower or in castle fit for a fairytale ending, Kardashian will wed in Paris, or she hopes.
