Lea Michele of Glee has appeared in a few racy and sexy photo shoots in the past, but the photos of her taken by controversial photographer Terry Richardson which will appear in the February 27, 2014 issue of V Magazine, show perhaps more skin than any previous photoshoot has so far.
She has been very busy lately, because besides appearing in photoshoots baring her skin and acting in Glee, Lea Michele has been hard at work on completing her album Louder, featuring her hit songs “Cannonball,” “Battlefield,” and “You’re Mine,” a tribute to Cory Monteith, her boyfriend who tragically passed away in Canada in July 2013 at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver.
“Cannonball” and “If You Say So” were the last two songs Lea added to her album, as Louder had been completed back in June. They are both awesome songs, but they almost didn’t make it onto the album, which will be in stores nationwide March 4.
Lea has said that she worked with “Anne Preven, Felicia Barton, and Bonnie McKee,” who helped her think up songs for Louder. Will it hit it big on the Billboard Charts? Only time will tell, but the current success of “Cannonball” is a good sign.
“If You Say So,” according to Lea Michele, is a song that “is for me.” She understands it, and it has a special meaning to her. She added that the song is “the only song that no one’s heard.” Everyone can bring their own take to it, and that’s cool with Lea; but, she has stated that she won’t talk much about it until more people hear it.
Though Lea Michele, 27, says that her friends call her “Grandma,” the thin stunning brunette beauty definitely doesn’t look like any Grandma I’ve ever seen before. As Lea Michele herself put it in Us Weekly, “Grandma’s killing it right now.”
In one of the photos, Lea Michele is wearing a black DKNY bodysuit, while in another, she is wearing a blue Vionnet bodysuit. Lea reveals some of her hidden charms when she pulls the sides of the bodysuit down, and she also a tattoo of a bird on her hip.
Lea Michele also has an autobiography out, Brunette Ambition. In the book, Lea says that she doesn’t drink a lot, though she does occasionally, and she also doesn’t particularly care about going to clubs. Lea Michele also includes the message to young girls in her autobiography that “you don’t need to fit in with everyone and do what all the cool kids are doing,” You just need to have “drive and focus.”
If the sexy and revealing photoshoot and interview Lea Michele did called “Lea the Brave” in V Magazine was intended to help her new album get more attention, it worked — just don’t go too overboard like Miley Cyrus, and start twerking in your videos, Lea, please.
