The Friends With Benefits star, Mila Kunis, has upgraded her relationship with Ashton Kutcher. That’s right, the famous couple are finally engaged!
The couple first met on That 70’s Show back in 1998. It must have been fate because when Kunis auditioned for the role of Jackie, Mila lied to the producers in order to get the role. Kunis, then aged 14, said to producers, “I’m going to be 18 soon!” The ploy worked as Kunis won the part and the producers thought the whole thing was hilarious.
Twitter and other social media outlets have been buzzing with everyone’s opinion on the power couple’s engagement. Kris Jenner tweeted that the marriage was not going to last as all Hollywood marriages don’t. An odd thing to tweet when Jenner’s daughter, Kim Kardashian, plans to wed narcissistic hip-hop artist, Kanye West, sometime soon.
A source close to Kutcher, now 36, told People Magazine in December, “Ashton and Mila have talked about getting married for quite a while.” Another alleged bestie, also to People, said, “They’re incredibly happy together.”
The two have travelled together on vacations and can be seen in the crowd at Laker’s basketball games, and other events, always very affectionate to one another. It wasn’t hard to see that the Friend With Benefits star, Mila Kunis, was hoping to upgrade her relationship with Ashton.
It seems that vacationing may be one of the key ingredients to their success as a couple. A source told People how Ashton and Mila both love to travel and how the couple are looking forward to being able to do that more often and even “living part-time abroad.”
Kutcher split from Demi Moore two years ago in a divorce that was sensationalized everywhere. Many people became divided and Moore seemed to have taken the break up badly. That shocking divorce was finally finalized in November of 2013. The timing is no coincidence.
The divorce was definitely one for the books. With Moore fighting for the legal fees and spousal support, the splitting up of the their $300 million in assets proved to be an exhausting and emotional ordeal.
An obvious obstacle for Kutcher, who another source told People was interfering with the actor’s happiness. The source revealed how Kutcher was “annoyed that there was still the hold-up with the divorce.”
Kunis, who made Esquire’s “Sexiest Woman Alive” for 2012, reflects on how Kutcher was her first kiss; a kiss that was aired on television. When Mila does something she does it big. “I had the biggest crush on him.” she told People. “I was so nervous and uncomfortable.”
That wasn’t the way the actresses co-star remembers how it all went down. “She acted so cool. She seemed as if she’d done it a thousand times.” In the same interview with the magazine he said, “I was the one with the butterflies in my stomach.” And with good reason. Kutcher was a young adult at the time and Kunis was just 14 years old. No wonder Ashton, a former model, called the ordeal “nerve-racking.”
But all that must seem like water under the bridge now. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have finally upgraded their relationship and no longer are just Friends With Benefits.
