Paul Walker’s Fast and Furious Seven Trailer Leaked

Walker, Paul Walker

The seventh installment of Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious got a jolt from the blue when a trailer of the upcoming movie got leaked online. The leak shows the trailer beginning with the funeral of Han who was killed in the end credits of the sixth installment of the franchise.

With the movie already in trouble with the untimely death of Paul Walker, the leak would probably be a bad news for the producers of the franchise. However, the fans of Walker and the movie would be delighted to get a peek of the trailer probably designed before Walker’s tragic accident. The trailer with footage of the movie gives an idea about how the movie would have shaped up had Walker would have been still alive.

The rumors around the movie seems to never die with most of the it surrounding Paul Walker himself. Earlier reports cited the writers deciding not to kill Walker’s character in the movie to possible replacements of his character have all made headlines.

The delay in the film’s completion and the halting of its filming has also sent the schedule of many actors’ associated with movie for a toss. However, the leaked footage of the seventh installment of the Fast and Furious franchise has bought back into limelight the importance that Paul walker held in the movie standing alongside established names like Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Had it not been for the accident in November last year where Walker riding along with his friend Roger Roadas crashed into a light pole and a tree in California, we would probably have had the first trailer released for the movie. The Porche Carrera GT, they were riding at a speed of 100 mph lost balance and both Walker and Roadas lost their life on the spot as the impact sent the car bursting into flames.

The sports car which was been driven by Rodas, a former professional racer, was completely damaged and left millions of Walker fans mourning in the wake of his death. The trailer sends down the first of video footage of the stalled movie and shows the crew attending Han’s funeral and talking about being hunted down.

Van Diesel, who is seen paying his last respects to Han realizes that a Maserati Ghilibi is circling around the cemetery. It’s a ominous clip in its one and half minute of
entirety, especially since Walker died in the car accident soon after this was filmed. Written by Chris Morgan and directed by James Wan, the movie’s release has been pushed back to 2015 after the accident and will see the crew take on Jason Stathan’s character, Ian Shaw on the streets of Tokyo.

With the producer’s promising not to end Paul Walker’s part in seventh installment of the movie, fans are definitely waiting to know how the writers will take the story forward in the absence of one of its lead character. The confirmation from the producers of Walker’s presence in the movie had itself bought jubilation for many. The leaked trailer may not be part of the now changed marketing strategy of the movie’s release, but it does satisfy the hunger of many who waiting for the movie’s release in the summer of 2014.

Don’t you guys think it’s strange that Tyrese says to Paul: ‘No more funerals’? Maybe knowing they aren’t going to do Paul’s funeral but retirement, since this was filmed before his death.

This isn’t exactly a ‘leaked trailer’. It is on the Fast & Furious 6 DVD. Anyone who bought that had already seen this. It is titled on the DVD as Fast & Furious 7 ‘first look’.
