Protesters in Russia arrested for singing Freedom songs in front of a Moscow courthouse on Monday. They were protesting upcoming sentencing for protestors who allegedly attacked Russian police in anti-government demonstrations in 2012.
The defendants were found guilty on Friday, eight in total for violent protests against Russian President Putin on May 6 2012. Most of the protesters were young adults in their twenties, many are pleading with the government for shorter sentences. At least 15 more have been detained.
