Big Bang Theory Birthday and Burnt Sage

Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory premiered in 2007 and just in March the series was picked up for another three seasons marking its tenth season in 2016/2017. The success of The Big Bang Theory comes from the great writers and the comedic talents of its cast. Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper, is one of the shows fan favorites and The Big Bang Theory actor is having a birthday today and contemplating burning some sage.

Born on March 24, 1973 making the hilarious actor 41 years of age. A definite eye opener as many fans always thought that Parsons was much younger. All that science must really do a body good. Parsons has won three Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe and a Critics’ choice award for the actor’s comedic portrayal of Dr. Sheldon Cooper, super geek. Maybe some of the character has rubbed off on Parsons who shows some very strange sides of The Muppets stars true self.

Parsons and partner, Todd Spiewak, had recently purchased the home of former mega-couple, Robert Patterson and Kristen Stewart. The couple have concerns that the home needs to be cleansed before the two move in so that nothing bad will happen. The cleansing ritual would consist of burning sage throughout the home in every room to clear the home of negative energies. For Parsons, though friends say that the actor is not superstitious, burning sage is not enough. The floors need to be scrubbed with witch-hazel to remove all harmful energies from the home. “They aren’t completely superstitious,” a friend of Parson told Star, “but they’re aware of what happened to Rob and Kristen’s relationship. They don’t want bad luck themselves.” Not completely normal but considering the sensationalized blow out Patterson and Stewart had, the couple is just playing it safe.

Parsons is not the only cast member to be dealing in real estate these days. Kaley Cuoco who plays Penny, a 22-year-old waitress at The Cheesecake Factory, has recently bought a new home with husband, Ryan Sweeting.  The newlyweds purchased Khloé Kardashian’s and Lamar Odom’s home for $5.49 million. Cuoco put the actresses own home up for sale for $2.795 million. Though it is not Cuoco’s birthday, The Big Bang Theory comedienne might want to borrow some sage to burn in the newly purchased abode also. Things didn’t end well for Odom or Kardashian either.

Both Parsons and Cuoco are reportedly renegotiating the actors contracts to receive $1 million an episode. Leaving the comics more than enough money for any kind of spiritual cleansing either of the homes may need. Right now Cuoco is making $300K per episode and with the new salary hike and a three season contract, that is a lot of dough the actress will be making.

The Big Bang Theory celebrates Jim Parsons birthday today and though the actor loves burning sage to get rid of unwanted, bad vibes, it is unclear how the Emmy winner will celebrate the big day. The next episode of The Big Bang Theory airs on Thursday, April 3 on CBS at 8/7c. It is titled The Indecision Amalgamation and has Sheldon choosing between two different gaming systems, Raj dating two women and Penny contemplating taking a role in a movie.
