The Voice is rated by many viewers as one of the best talent competitions on the air. American Idol has Jennifer Lopez and The Voice will now have Pharrell Williams. To have an artist such as Williams bring his uniqueness, perfection, and business savvy to the contestants on The Voice will sure to make the rating skyrocket through the roof.
When Williams croons on such hits as Happy or Jay-Z’s Excuse Me Miss, listeners would swear the late great soul singer Curtis Mayfield just snatched the microphone and graced the stage. Williams brings a level of musicianship that the competing contestants will much appreciate. Williams was first introduced to The Voice by pop star Usher who has been a coach on the hit show for almost two seasons. Usher brought Williams on as a mentor to his team on the show. Williams dominates the charts and is also soaring in the fashion industry as well with his own line. Williams brings a level of expertise as a coach that his team will be sure to walk away prepared to win whether they take the title on The Voice or not. And more importantly, Williams is looking forward to helping fresh talent. He tweeted to his millions of fans how much fun it is going to be to share his knowledge with hungry artists.
