The Kardashian sisters are known for being famous and are usually decked out with all the glitz and glamour Hollywood has to offer. However, Kim and Khloe Kardashian recently showed that they could get down and dirty just like anyone else.
On Saturday, April 26, the Kardashian sisters proved to the world that they are capable of getting their hands a little dirty when they participated in the Survivor Mud Run held in northern California. The mud run is an event used to test each participant’s ability to navigate through an extreme 5K course consisting of natural mud pits and 20 tough obstacles by using running, climbing, jumping, crawling, brute force, and mental determination. Those who are able to complete the course win the right to be called survivors and the top three winners in each division receive awards.
The Kardashian sisters showed up at the event wearing bandanas over their faces to conceal their identity, but it was obvious to anyone who was paying even a little bit of attention that they were part of the Kardashian clan. The mud run began with a wave of 300 participants charging the course and another wave followed every 15 minutes.
It is uncertain how many events the sisters participated in or just how dirty they got. They may have even broken a nail or two, but that detail has not been confirmed either. Most people speculate that the sisters were not even able to finish the course. Nonetheless, just the fact that they showed up and participated, even if just for a short amount of time, proved to the world that Kim and Khloe Kardashian are not afraid to get down and dirty and have a little fun.
However, the obstacle course is not the only place the sisters can throw down. The Kardashian kids have been in a court battle with Ellen Pearson who happens to be their much-disliked stepmom since last year when she sold supposed excerpts from their late father, Robert Kardashian’s diary to In Touch Weekly. The diary entries detailed numerous happenings within the Kardashian family that were nothing less than scandalous.
Following the story’s release, Kim and her siblings fired back at their stepmom calling her a liar and demanding that she stop publishing entries from their father’s diaries. However, their outrage only fueled Pearson’s fire and she sold more and more diary entries to the tabloids. A few months later, the Kardashians filed a lawsuit against their stepmom in an attempt to gain possession of their father’s diaries as well as family photo albums Pearson had, but refused to hand over.
The attorneys in the case were able to reach a settlement and Pearson has agreed to hand over the diaries and photo albums. However, the Kardashians are not fully satisfied; they are demanding that Pearson pay more than $300,000 in legal fees to their attorney. The matter of legal fees is set to go before a judge on May 5.
The Kardashian sisters do not mess around. Whether dealing with serious problems such as their stepmom or having fun by participating in a physical event such as the mud run, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have proven that they are not afraid to get down and dirty when the situation calls for it.
