The most current game in the May 4 sale is LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. The Xbox 360 title is known for its great graphics and fun gameplay. The game features characters from the animated television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, plus adds a few from the theatrical releases of the franchise. The game features new abilities and allows players to play as a jedi or separatist. The cartoonish action and crude humor makes this one a fun choice for all ages. Originally listing for $49.99, the May 4 discounted price, $9.99, is an outright steal. May the Fourth’s Star Wars sale is going to be hot for Xbox Live.
Xbox 360 players have a lot to look forward to for the rest of May. The following games will be unleashed to a rabid public later in the month: Bound by Flame, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Watch Dogs, and Kick Ass 2 should kick off any gamer’s summer season with lots of action.
The Wolfenstein franchise started on the lowly Apple II back in 1981. It was upgraded and ported to the Commodore 64. Back then, 64 indicated the number of kilobytes the machine could handle. It was an 8-bit machine. Wolfenstein didn’t move into the 3d arena until 1992 when it found a home on the PC.
Watch Dogs is an adult-oriented action game slated for May 27. The game features intense violence, sexual content, and drugs, among other so-called mature elements. Downloadable content will be available for an additional $19.99. The DLC will include single-player missions, weapons and outfits.
Bound by Flame, developed by Spiders, is due on May 9 and will be published by Focus Home Interactive. The game is an RPG in which players take on the role of a mercenary who is fighting demonic forces. Players will have multiple quests to complete which are part of a larger epic journey.
Players will be allowed to craft their gear. Weapons and armor alike can be honed to suit the individual player and his or her character. The choices for customization are immense and will make each character unique and fun to play for hours and hours and hours. The game has not yet been slated for Xbox One. Perhaps the publishers and developers are waiting to see how it fares on the 360 system before expanding the franchise.
Star Wars fans on Xbox Live have a lot to look forward to in the week of May the Fourth. From there, there is a lot to anticipate for those who love their 360s. The second half of the year is packed with goodness, too. But, that is for an other article.
