Real Housewives of New Jersey Surprising New Cast

Real Housewives of New Jersey

Fans of the Real Housewives of New Jersey will be both disappointed and surprised by the new cast of ladies for season six. Fans will be happy to know that Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga will be returning, however, they are the only ladies from season five that are. Other fan favorites, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo, and Kathy Wakile will not be returning to the show.

There is no official word on why Jacqueline Laurita or Kathy Wakile will not be returning with the other ladies for season six. Perhaps viewers were bored with their lack of story line, as both ladies had a very stable family life and kept a level head throughout the season. Most of their drama came from fighting with Teresa Giudice. There is still a chance that they may make an appearance, as Wakile might be shown when she hangs out with her family members, Gorga and Giudice.

However, fans will still be able to keep up with Caroline Manzo, just on a different show. Manzo is getting her own show called Manzo’d With Children. The spinoff show will feature Manzo and her tight knit family. Perhaps viewers will also get to see an appearance by Laurita on this show, as she and her sister-in-law Caroline Manzo are very close.

One of the new cast members for this season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey might surprise some fans. Bravo is bringing back fan favorite, Dina Manzo, from season one. Viewers fell in love with Dina Manzo, who is Caroline Manzo’s sister and Jacqueline Laurita’s sister-in-law, and were sad when she left the show. Dina Manzo has remained close friends with Teresa Giudice, but is not speaking with either Caroline or Jacqueline. Fans are speculating that is why neither of those ladies are returning, as filming would be very awkward.

Dina Mazo’s storyline will feature her divorce from husband, Tommy Manzo, and her coping with her daughter, Lexi, leaving for college. Dina is also going to attempt dating and will lend emotional support to good friend, Teresa Giudice, who is facing intense legal problems.

Adding to the Real Housewives of New Jersey of the cast is Rino Aprea, Amber Marchese, and Nichole Mauriello. Aprea owns a restaurant in New York City and is twin sisters with Nichole Mauriello. Mauriello works as a broker and is dating a man who her family does not approve of. Marchese is a cancer survivor and is trying to rekindle her friendship with Melissa Gorga.

One thing is for sure, the new cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey is sure to serve up plenty of surprises and loads of drama. Although fans are sad to see some of the regular cast go, it is always fun to watch these ladies make new friends. Bravo has kept with the family theme by adding the twin sisters, along with Giudice and Gorga. Fans are undoubtedly going to tune in to see how Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal problems progress, and to see if Dina Manzo finally addresses her ongoing feud with her sister Caroline Manzo and sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita. Bring on the table flipping.
