Scotland Yard Arrests Teen Boy Age 13 After Allegedly Murdering a Man During Break-In

A teen boy, age 13 has been placed under arrest due to suspicion of allegedly murdering a man who died during a break-in at his home, stated Scotland Yard. The teenager was taken to a South London police station to receive questioning.

Martin Thomas, age 39, who was initially from Jamaica, was discovered with life threatening injuries by police and paramedics at his house on Huntingfield Road, in the southwest part of London.

Two other teenagers have also been implicated in the murder as well. Another boy, age 15, has already shown up in court charged with the alleged murder of Thomas while a teen, age 17 has been freed on bail after being under arrest due to suspicion of murder.

A STAT flight air ambulance arrived but Thomas had by then passed away and was declared dead on scene. During the post-mortem examination done on his body, it was revealed Thomas was killed from a stab wound that perforated one of his lungs.

Scotland Yard Chief Inspector Charlie King stated that at such a primary stage of the investigation, the police were not going to talk to the public about the motive behind the stabbing.

After she found out about his death, Mr. Thomas’s sister Vyree Thomas Williams, who resides in New York, spoke about her brother. She explained that it was so hard to hear about his murder. She added that he was very hard-working and a good guy. He may not have been perfect but he was determined to finally make it and he had given up everything to move to London to have a better life for himself.

The three teenagers, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, were all arrested at different times. The 13-year- old remains in custody.

Paramedics called for a STAT flight air ambulance arrived but Thomas passed away before it was able to arrive on the scene. During the post-mortem autopsy performed on his body, it was revealed that Thomas died from a stab wound that punctured one of his lungs.

Scotland Yard Chief Inspector Charlie King stated that at such an important stage of the investigation, the police were not going to discuss to the public the motive behind the stabbing.

She explained that it was so hard to hear about his death. She added that he had been a very hard-working man and all around good guy. He had not been perfect but he was determined to finally get his life together and he had given up everything he knew to move to London to make a better life for himself.

Hopefully Scotland Yard will get justice for Mr. Thomas.
