Charlie Hunnam made a hilarious speech at Comic-Con, even though he was not there. Sending his love to fans via video, the Sons of Anarchy star showed his sense of humor in the most epic way while laying on a table with just a towel covering his back side. Fans of the show were certainly disappointed when the star did not show with the rest of the cast for the last day of San Diego’s Comic-Con, however, the video message certainly must have made up for it, at least a little.
With a little help from his friends, the scantily clad Hunnam along with Mark Boone Junior, Kim Coates, and Tommy Flanagan give the fans what they want and then some. The video below is what Comic-Con and Sons of Anarchy fanatics received in lieu of his physical presence.
The actor is one of the fan favorites as Jax Teller on Sons of Anarchy, and certainly one of the ladies’ picks, as they tried to get him by pure pressure and total adoration, to play Christian Grey in the upcoming movie Fifty Shades of Grey. Hunnam turned down the role, and to this day, even with the movie in the making, photos of the star can be found photo shopped into the movie’s promotional photos. Add to the list of those who will love this video, the ladies in the Hunnam fan club. The video opens with the star on a massage table, with a smirk on his face and little else, leaving just a little to the imagination.
At the tender age of 34, the actor has made quite a name for himself in the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy, although he came from humble beginnings and worked his way up. Born in England, Hunnam, at the age of 17, made appearances on Byker Grove, but did not gain fame until his role in Queer as Folk in 1999. Discovered while messing around after drinking, he was spotted in a local shoe shop looking for shoes for his brother. A production manager is the one who cast him in his first role in the children’s show, Byker Grove. After that, a round of auditions for movie and TV roles followed but the kind of attention he craved–the international kind– did not surface until 2002 in the thriller Abandon, where he played a supportive role opposite Katie Holmes.
Following soon after, a plethora of movies came his way such as Cold Mountain and Children of Men. The latter being the one that caught the eye of Kurt Sutter, who then cast him in Sons of Anarchy as the infamous Jax Teller. This success on television in America also led to a pivotal role as Raleigh Becket in the movie Pacific Rim. Judging by the hilarious video below, fans of Charlie Hunnam, Comic-Con, and Sons of Anarchy will still be singing his praises. As for his female fans out there, it appears to be a fine day to watch a massage video that will make you smile, and not just at the jokes.
