Bang Bang, a single by Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J, has taken the U.S. by storm and this collaboration has now become the number one single in Britain, according to the Official Charts Company. In its first week out, Bang Bang has sold almost 100,000 copies and it has been streamed more than 800,000 times. The video of the song is below!

Bang Bang, which is on Jessie J’s latest album, Sweet Talker, and the deluxe edition of Ariana Grande’s number one album, My Everything, replaced Sigma’s song Changing on Britain’s charts. That song fell into second place.

Taylor Swift’s big hit, Shake It Off, climbed two spots and landed at number three on the charts. Meanwhile, Blame, by Calvin Harris, who performed at last week’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, dropped to fourth place. It is this past week’s most-streamed song in the U.K. Lilly Wood’s song Prayer in C rounded out the top five, in the fifth spot.

Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj gave an incredible performance of Bang Bang at the MTV VMAs. Minaj and Grande sang this huge hit again at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday September 19. Jessie J was not there, but Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj still gave an extremely entertaining performance of it and other hits, like Problem.

Bang Bang is the third number one single for Jessie J and the first one off of Sweet Talker. The song also marks Nicki Minaj’s first time ever to have a number one hit in the U.K. and it is the first time that Jessie J has topped the charts in three years. Her last song to have achieved this accomplishment was Domino in 2011. Bang Bang is the second time an Ariana Grande single has hit number one in the U.K. The first time was with her hit, Problem, also off of My Everything, featuring vocals by Iggy Azalea.

Already, Bang Bang has had tremendous success in the rest of Europe, Australia, and the United States, entering into the Top Ten on all of the pop charts in this countries and regions of the world, according to the Unreality TV site.

Still, Changing by Sigma and Paloma Faith is holding steady in the number two spot of the U.K. charts. It was downloaded a whopping 92,000 times this past week and streamed over 8000,000 times. It is a major hit for Sigma and Paloma Faith and likely will not be vacating the Top Ten in the U.K. anytime soon.

For Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Jessie J, the hit single Bang Bang hitting number one on the charts in Britain is confirming their status as three of today’s hottest singers. Any of them, on their own, can sell out shows and attract the media wherever they go; together, they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Check out the video of Bang Bang below!
