The upcoming season was expected to be a career best for Boston Celtics point guard, Rajon Rondo, but instead of taking to the court, he will be warming the bench following another injury. According to ESPN, he broke his hand when he slipped and fell in the shower Thursday night.
Rondo underwent surgery at New England Baptist Hospital on Friday morning to repair damage to his hand. He is expected to miss the first six to eight weeks of the season.
