Grand Theft Auto V Exclusive Content for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Grand Theft Auto
Introducing the Kraken Sub

Those that currently have Grand Theft Auto V will be rewarded with exclusive content when they transfer their data to the next generation experience of GTA 5. To be clear, those that purchase Grand Theft Auto V on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, or PC, will not get access to the exclusive content unless they already have the game on an older console. However, there is still extra content for everyone within the newer released version of GTA 5, so far Rockstar Games has been very quiet about that subject, but more information will become available in the upcoming weeks.

This new exclusive content covers a lot of different topics, including vehicles, weapons, races, and even a murder mystery. Although there are new weapons and vehicles, the additional events and challenges are the real focus with this exclusive content. Finishing each new task yields a nice reward that can not be obtained any other way. For example, Franklin can photograph new wildlife across Blaine County and Los Santos to unlock the Kraken Sub, completing the new challenges found at the local Ammu-Nation shooting range yields the new high-powered Rail gun / Hatchet, winning a series of stock car races shows off unique muscle cars and the companies branded on them, and tracking down all of the simian-inspired silhouettes unlocks new monkey outfits. Players will be able to get their hands on the new monster truck, the Cheval Marshall, the Blimp, and  even a number of returning classic vehicles.

As previously announced, those that preorder the game will get one million dollars in-game. Half of it will be available in Story Mode, while the other half can be used only in Grand Theft Auto Online. Those playing GTA Online will find 30 person matches not only in Free Roam, but also in competitive modes.

Those that buy Grand Theft Auto V on a newer console will have the option to transfer over their character and all data. The only things not included in the transfer are some of the Grand Theft Auto Online features such as Leaderboards, Playlists, Bookmarks, and Snapmatics. Also, the transfer can only be performed once, but both copies can continue to be played independently.

The new exclusive content will not be available on older consoles even if the a newer version is bought. However, any extra content brought into Los Santos via the Collectors Edition or Special Edition versions of Grand Theft Auto V will transfer over just fine, nothing to worry about there.

Additional content is always welcome and exclusive content can be pretty great too. Rockstar Games aims to reward the hardcore fans that buy the game twice (for older consoles and new consoles) by giving them Hatchets, Blimps, and even more mischief. The exclusive content becomes available when gamers transfer over their data to the new version of Grand Theft Auto V, which is set to release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One November 17, while the PC version comes January 27, 2015.
