Approximately 6 a.m. Sunday morning an inmate was found dead at the Maine State Prison. Authorities have not released the details of his death or if it was from natural causes or the result of foul play.
The deceased inmate was 51-year-old Steven Holloway. He had served 15 years for a conviction of manslaughter. His release date was four years away.
Recently on September 25th there had been another inmate was discovered dead in his cell. Jerry Robin Lydick, age 56, was serving a 20 year sentence. His crime was listed gross sexual assault. He began serving his sentence in 2012. It is believed he expired from natural causes; no foul play was suspected.
