An investigation of a pastor who presided over an enormous congregation in Seattle has led to his resignation. Today, Mark Driscoll and Mars Hill Church parted ways.
For six weeks the elders of Mars Hill Church have been looking into allegations of ‘plagiarism,’ ‘bullying,’ and displaying an overactive ego. There was no suggestion that Mark Driscoll be removed from his position.
In his resignation he said that the past few months have been a strain on his family, and that it appears to be time for the Church to find new leadership.
