A nurse, who has became the second health care worker to be diagnosed with Ebola took a flight from Cleveland to Dallas one day before she became symptomatic. Can one sneeze in a closed environment transmit Ebola?
Amber Vison traveled on the flight on October 13th, and reported symptoms on the 14th. Because of the time frame, the passengers who were on flight 1143 are asked to seek testing for Ebola. There were 132 passengers on board.
The CDC claims that because she had no symptoms during the flight she was not contagious. The question remains; could one sneeze in a closed environment such as an airplane transmit Ebola?
