The suspect in Friday morning’s shootings at Marysville Pilchuck High School in Washington has been confirmed dead by officials just now. Police would not confirm whether he was killed by police or at his own hand, only that he was deceased. The announcement indicated that the shooter was a student at the High School, and that they have no other suspects in custody. Police reported that they are “confident” that there were no other shooters involved in this incident. Family members of the deceased suspect interacted with local reporter Joanna Small, of KIRO TV and confirmed the report that their child had been killed, asking for their privacy to be respected as they gathered more information for themselves.
