Adele’s Next Album and Upcoming Appearance

Adele

The British singer and songwriter Laurie Blue Adkins, also known as Adele, had begun to take the world by storm with her powerful voice at only the age of 19, but what is next for this artist’s latest album is yet to be determined. In recent years, the aforementioned artist had released such hits as Someone Like You (2011), Rolling In The Deep (2011), and even the hit song Skyfall, off the soundtrack of the Hollywood film of the same name. On November 17, Adele wont be releasing a new album, but her next appearance is confirmed as she will join others on an upcoming charitable venture originally made famous in 1984.

After the posting of her demo on MySpace back in 2006, the artist was offered a recording contract from XL Recordings. That following year, she was on her way to fame after receiving the BRIT Awards, Critics’ Choice award, as well as winning the BBC Sound of 2008. After releasing her debut album, 19, in 2008, which went four times platinum in the UK and double platinum in the U.S., she had earned her fame as an artist. Soon after the release of her album, Adele had exploded in the U.S. and earned her first appearance on the long-running hit television series Saturday Night Live.

It was not long before she had received her first Grammy award for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. After releasing her second studio album, 21, in 2011, which had such hits has Someone Like You and Rolling In The Deep, Adele had earned herself additional Grammy Awards and even broke the Billboard record of longest running album by a woman, with 21 non-consecutive weeks at number one in the U.S., previously held by Whitney Houston’s soundtrack The Bodyguard. The success of 21 also earned Adele several mentions in the book of Guinness World Records. Adele’s next appearance would be an album hit on a Hollywood movies soundtrack.

In 2013, after the release of her 2012 soundtrack hit Skyfall, from the latest instillation of the James Bond legacy, the artist earned herself an Academy Award as well as a Golden Globe award for Best Original Song. In 2012, Adele stated that she would likely be releasing her third album two years later. In an interview, Adele explained that she needed time to live a little bit and experience life to better prepare for her next album.

Fans of Adele have been keeping a close eye on her after the notorious tweet she posted the day she turned 26, hinting the idea that she would be releasing her next album, possibly entitled 25, sometime this year. After a report from her record label XL Recordings stated that they had no plans to release her third album this year, fans were confused about the future release of her album.

Adele is however set to appear on Band Aid 30’s, 30th year re-recording of their 1984 hit holiday charity single, Do They Know It’s Christmas? The hit charity single was originally released to raise money for the victims of the 1984 Ethiopian famine. On November 17 of this year, Adele is confirmed to appear next to One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and other artists on this upcoming re-recorded version, only this time in aid of the Ebola crisis. As far as Adele’s upcoming album, there has yet to be an actual confirmation from her, or her label as to the exact release date, but it is alleged to be due out sometime next year.
