Bird flu has been discovered and confirmed, according to the BBC News, at a Yorkshire, England duck breeding farm. Yorkshire is the largest county in the United Kingdom.
Though not many details have yet been released about this case, it appears to be, so far, the only example of bird flu found at the Yorkshire duck farm.
According to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the solitary case found at the duck breeding farm poses a low risk to the food chain and to public health.
Yorkshire, England, is a county with a long and rich history, a favorite destination of many tourists. As the outbreak of bird flu that has been discovered is, so far, on a small scale, the tourism industry will probably not suffer very much, if at all.
Once again, bird flu has been discovered in Yorkshire, England. There appears to be little, if any, danger the single case will spread to any other poultry farms in Yorkshire.
