A representative of Delaware State University has just announced that the campus has been put on lockdown after one person was shot in off campus housing. The suspect fled the residence hall after shooting one person and has yet to be apprehended. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, but no information about their identity or the circumstances of the shooting have yet been revealed. The residence hall where the incident took place is called the Living and Learning Commons and is close to the main campus. The manhunt for the shooter is underway at this time, and the locked-down campus is waiting to hear additional information as it progresses.
