Eliza Dushku is happy due to the arrest over the Comic Con arrest. It had been a difficult weekend after she had been robbed, and reportedly found out that her thieves were staying in the same hotel. It is just a shame that some actresses are not the same as the characters they once played.
The 33-year-old actress is best known for her role as Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She played a kick-ass vampire slayer, who would never allow anyone to even think about robbing her.
On Halloween, Duskhu took to Twitter to tell her fans what had happened. She had just been in front of the hotel when she was robbed. Luckily it seems that it was all caught on camera, but the actress did say that nobody was able to do anything to help. She shared some of the items that had been stolen, including a Louis Vuitton duffle bag that was a gift from Sharon Osbourne when Dushku appeared on her talk show back in 2004.
The worst part of the ordeal was reportedly the fact that she was staying in the same hotel. Part of that issue was that nobody knew who had robbed her, considering the men were wearing Halloween costumes. All the Tru Calling actress could describe was the costumes, including one of them dressed as Caesar in head-to-toe gold. She continued to tweet throughout the night asking Omni Hotels to release the pictures and videos of her attackers.
It was a horrible start to Comic Con, but Dushku was very happy after the men were identified and arrested. Police found the star’s handbag in a hotel room, and arrested the occupier under suspicion of robbery. While it seemed the police were not doing anything, they were reportedly looking through surveillance footage, which is how they found the property.
Everything has allegedly been given back to the actress, and there are now two suspects for the robbery. Scott Pryor, 27, is currently under arrest. The police are now allegedly searching for Jamie Lange, 30.
According to reports, it was Dushku’s tweets that helped to find the culprits. She took to Twitter to thank them for it all, and shared the good news that at least one would be spending time in jail. The actress then shared a photo of her own Halloween costume while in the hotel, so that she could prove her Twitter had not been hacked. This was an accusation from someone.
The Bring It On actress was able to get back to enjoying her weekend at the Rhode Island Comic Con, without keeping an eye out for her attackers. She was able to put it all behind her, and focus on being herself for her fans.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer was very happy that things were able to work out, and extremely grateful to her fans. Not only did social media do some good for helping to find her attackers, it also helped to keep her calm during the night. It arguably gave her something productive to do, knowing that her attackers were in the same hotel room as her. Dushku is reportedly very happy after the Comic Con arrest from her attack.
