Southwest Airlines offered free Beatz music to everyone. Or, you could get it by sitting next to someone with Beatz headphones.
“Sitting for long periods of time could lead to chronic diseases or make you die sooner.”
The house band, The Roots, played Jimmy Fallon to his desk. He mentioned on Friday, Jay Leno will be returning to the Tonight Show, and he will be doing some stand-up comedy. Steve Higgins again, like last night, impersonated Leno, and did a great job of it.
Fallon said Bette Midler’s having a new album coming out, called It’s a Girl. He said that the second guest of the show would be comedian and author, Jim Gaffigan.
Jimmy Fallon did a new segment called Tonight Show Dictionary. The new definition of Brunch is “An excuse to have bacon and champagne early in the morning.”
“Pita’s new definition is “How Christopher Walken will say ‘Peter’ in Peter Pan.” Jimmy Fallon then did a very funny impersonation of Walken.

Jimmy Fallon held up Bette’s album, It’s a Girl and said “This is a tribute to girl groups, right?”
Bette answered him that it was, and she named off some of the girl groups that she liked a lot and that were included on the album, like the Boswell Sisters and the Ronettes. She related to Fallon how she and her family got their first record player from a neighbor and fell in love with the music of the Boswell Sisters.
Fallon showed some pictures of Bette from a leaflet included with the album. They were all photos of Bette, but with different hairstyles and clothes, dressed up like different girl groups. She will go on tour to support the album.
Later tonight, she will sing TLC’s Waterfall. “I’m going to get a bit more up close and personal with you after the break, Jimmy Fallon said. “Do you mind?”
She answered him “Not at all.”
Back from the break, Bette Midler was still with Fallon. “I would really like to interview me, myself.”
Fallon said “I think I know what you’re talking about, a Flip Lip!” Then, the switched lips, and did the “Flip Lip” comedy bit that Fallon has done with other guests in the past. It was pretty funny stuff! Check the video out below. One part of it had them both singing the song Baby, It’s You, with each other’s lips.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon then went to yet another commercial break. When the episode returned, Jimmy introduced his second guest of the evening, the very funny comedian, Jim “Hot Pockets” Gaffigan. His latest book is called Food: A Love Story.
“You look great!”
“I look fat, I know. Sure, my pants are tight, but that’s a little gift for the ladies. I’ll wear them two weeks, then they will fit me, they’ll just give in,” Gaffigan said.
Gaffigan told Jimmy “You look great, by the way– Doesn’t he look great?” he asked the studio audience, who cheered and clapped.

“Here to perform TLC’s classic Waterfalls from her new album, It’s a Girl, Bette Midler,” Jimmy Fallon said when the Tonight Show returned.
Bette did an awesome job, though she sang a slower version of it, and enunciated perhaps somewhat better than was done with the original — though, it might just seem like that, because it was a slower version. It still was great, though.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was a pretty cool Wednesday night episode. Bette Midler promoted her new album, It’s a Girl, and played the Lip Flip game with Jimmy Fallon, and comedian Jim Gaffigan was LOL funny, as usual. According to Bette’s web site, It’s a Girl is her 25th album! Bette Midler then closed out the Tonight Show singing the TLC song, Waterfalls.
