Jimmy Fallon Welcomes Baby

Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen welcome baby number two. Their newborn, named Frances Cole Fallon was brought into the world at 8:45am on December 3, 2014. The baby girl weighed five pounds, 11 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long at the time of birth.

Frances is daughter number two for the famous couple. Their first daughter, Winnie Rose was born in July of 2013. Both babies were birthed by a surrogate mother. After five years, struggling to get pregnant and give birth to a child, they decided to take an alternative route to becoming parents. When speaking about the issue with Mens Health Magazine, Jimmy Fallon talked about his struggle, stating that the struggles he and his wife had endured has really make them slow down and appreciate the small things in life.

Both of the couple’s pregnancies were kept a secret from the public because the couple wanted to share in their own happiness without all the hype from the media. Jimmy and Nancy Fallon wanted to welcome their baby into the world and then surprise everyone with their new bundles of joy. After years of ongoing struggles to have children, they wanted to keep the news of their upcoming births from anyone who could spoil the special time in their lives.

Jimmy Fallon met Nancy on the set of “Fever Pitch” in 2007. Jimmy was starring alongside Drew Barrymore who had business ties and partnerships with, his now wife, Nancy Juvonen. In August, just a few short months after the couple met, Fallon proposed to Nancy at the Juvonen family estate on Lake Winnipesaukee, in New Hampshire. In December of 2007, the couple would exchange vowels on Necker Island in the Caribbean. The ceremony was a small and intimate event, mostly including close friends and family.

When asked by interviewers for Mens Health Magazine how he knew that his wife was the one, Jimmy stated that “sometimes you just know. I know that is terrible advice and the only ones that will understand are the ones that just knew.” Another piece of advice that he gave the magazine was to find the person that you have the most fun with, the person that you want to have that much fun with forever, and then you know you have found the one.

The year 2014 has proven to be a great one for the comedian. Not only has Jimmy Fallon welcomed the birth of his second baby, he has also been quite successful in his career. After taking over Jay Leno’s spot on The Tonight Show, Fallon has proven that he has what it takes to fit the bill after making the show into a viral video factory for fans and critics. These videos, done by Fallon, have raised the show’s ratings since last year when Leno chose to leave the show. He even has his name in lights on the popular show. Also, Entertainment Weekly has named Fallon as the entertainer of the year in its yearly best and worst issue.
