Police Investigate Triple Shooting in Cincinnati

After reports of a possible triple shooting, Cincinnati Police are on the scene in the North Fairmount area conducting an investigation. The shootings are believed to happen today after 10:00 p.m. and injured three individuals.

Calls first came in to the Police about a double shooting. Officers responded to 1957 Baltimore Avenue. While no suspect was immediately located, one victim, a 18-year-old male, was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) suffering from a pair gunshot wounds. According to emergency personal, one of the gunshot wounds was in his abdomen.

A second victim of the shooting was also transported to UCMC, approximately 10 minutes after the first victim. After these two shooting victims were taken to the hospital, word came out of a third victim in the area who had been grazed by a bullet. At last word, this victim was expected to join the other two at UCMC.

At this time, a suspect has not been identified and any motive for the triple shooting have not been confirmed. Police will continue to investigate and search for a potential suspect and motive.
