The United States have placed their bid for which city should represent the Summer Olympics of 2024. Although four different cities were in the running Boston has been agreed upon as the final bid.
Boston Mayor Martin Walsh has declared that Boston has been chosen as bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. In a statement today, he noted how big of an honor it would be to represent such diversity and global leadership.
Four different cities were in the running for the bid, they included Boston, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and San Francisco. The US Olympic Committee chairman believes that Boston is a strong partner for this opportunity, as does Mayor Walsh.
The United States are slowly constantly changing, how exactly the country will look in nine years is up to question, but regardless the Summer Olympics of 2024 will need a city large enough to host it.
