In Massachusetts, a 17-year-old teen escapee who was undergoing psychological evaluation in the city of Palmer at Baystate Wing Hospital ran screaming from the hospital without a shirt on, according to Palmer Police Sgt. The teen boy then ran onto the Masspike and eventually made his way to the open garage of a residence located on Pleasant Street, and took an ax there, and wielding the weapon, he demanded car keys from the homeowner, according to a Breaking News story by NBC affiliate WWLP-22News.

The teen boy wielding the ax was spotted by a passing plow driver, according to Sergeant Burns. The plow driver stopped and managed to get the weapon away from the teen.
