Reports that Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is to be taken off life support on the same day her mother passed three years ago tomorrow have been revealed as false, this according to one of father Bobby Brown’s lawyers. Despite multiple members of the Brown family saying otherwise, attorney Christopher Brown insists that the speculation is simply not true and that the 21-year-old will remain on life support for the time being due to the decision her father made regarding his view on the situation.
Earlier today, the aforementioned news story made its way around the internet, alerting well-wishers and fans to the fact that, after over a week of being on life support, Brown had decided to take the strong advice of medical professionals to heart and let his daughter go. The stories said that, although the 46-year-old was initially hesitant to accept what the doctors were saying as true and was desperate to believe there was another way to save Bobbi Kristina, he had eventually given in to reason. Upon making this decision, he and the rest of the family were said to decide that letting the girl pass away on the same day in which her mother died would be the best thing to do, as it would commemorate the singer’s death and allow her daughter to leave this world on the same day in order to bring one last piece of unity to the pair.
Indeed, the New York post ran a story early Tuesday morning that reportedly contained a quote from Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston, giving details to the alleged impending event in question. She listed the family’s reason for ending Bobbi Kristina’s life on the same day her mother’s ended as the result of wanting to “bond mother and daughter for eternity”. Although this quote was not confirmed, the website in question went ahead and published the story anyway, making readers believe that it was fact and that the girl’s life was indeed going to be put to an end tomorrow.
Bobby Brown, however, is still reportedly insistent on remaining steady with his original decision to not pull the plug and to instead allow his daughter to be brought back to life by way of what he refers to as “a miracle of God”. He believes that prayer and religious devotion will work to restore Bobbi Kristina’s health back to its original state. Despite the fact that doctors had informed that there was nothing more they could do for the girl, even after moving her to a better facility in order to give her the best treatment possible for her condition, the father was unwilling to accept that the withdrawing of life support was the best decision he could make for his daughter.
It remains to be seen when or if Bobbi Kristina will be taken off life support, which she has been on for the past week and a half. For the time being, however, reports stating anything to the contrary of her being left on it are said to be entirely fabricated.
