Bill Cosby, age 77, has chosen to file a lawsuit against three women who have accused him of drugging them in the 1970s. The names of those women are Linda Traitz, Tamara Green, and Therese Serignese. According to People, he has the right to refute the allegations when his career and reputation is being attacked.
Although Cosby has continued to deny these charges from more than thirty women, he adds that the media has contributed to providing information to the public that is decades old. Fourteen years have passed since he was publicly accused of assaulting the first woman who came forth to report an incidence. Cosby and his legal team have claims that the accusations are not true and there is faulty legal reasoning.
The purpose of these lawsuits, as reported, are to attack people from the Cosby Show. Even though he has canceled many shows, Cosby has thanked many people for all the love and support he has received over the last 53 years.
