Ashton Kutcher is less than six degrees of separation from multiple people in two famous Hollywood families and a new celebrity heartthrob, in part thanks to a wild night in San Diego in 2011 that led to a divorce from actress wife Demi Moore. The news of an affair was put back front and center during an interview with two Hollywood notables last week.
A talk show Watch What Happens Live went beyond most viewers’ expectations Thursday, when one of its guests revealed Kutcher had an affair with his girlfriend during the infamous San Diego incident. The incident, involving Hollywood local Sara Leal, then 22, left the actor attempting to explain how a night in a hot tub with several local beauties was not cheating on Moore.
The guests on the show were Jon Cryer, who co-starred with Kutcher on the television show Two And A Half Men, and Scott Eastwood, who is starring in the upcoming romantic release The Longest Ride and is the son of actor-director Clint Eastwood. In talking about his memoir being released, a viewer called in a question to Cryer about whether his past relationship with Moore made things awkward on the television set with the That ’70s Show star. Cryer dated Moore in the 1980s.
It was after Cryer answered the question, stating he did feel awkward at first, that heartthrob Scott Eastwood spilled the beans that Kutcher slept with his girlfriend during the 2011 incident involving a wild scandalous night in San Diego. Eastwood never said which girl he was dating at the time.
“It was, I think, the catalyst that broke him and Demi up,” Eastwood said. Eastwood did not elaborate on the incident.
Leal said in a 2011 interview that there was an attraction between her and the famous celebrity that night. According to her story, Kutcher claimed he was separated from Moore. Several people got into the hot tub naked and Kutcher became affectionate. Leal said she then stayed the night, but would never have done it if she thought his marriage to Moore was not in separation mode.
If that was not strange enough, the twists and turns of the six degrees of Kutcher keep turning up in Hollywood circles. The television star replaced actor Charlie Sheen on Two And A Half Men. Sheen co-starred in the movie The Rookie, which was directed by and starred Clint Eastwood, in the 1990s. Sheen’s brother, Emilo Estevez, was once set to marry Demi Moore.
Meanwhile, Kutcher has moved on from the San Diego scandal brought on by the wild night. Another television show, the first Late Late Show with James Corden, provided hot news when Mila Kunis revealed that she and Kutcher “might be” married. She never offered a definitive answer, but was wearing a wedding ring. The couple have been together for a while and had a baby, Wyatt, last year. However, Eastwood’s public statements during the interview adds more fuel to the gossip fire and put the television actor back on the front page of celebrity magazines. Kutcher has not responded to the new revelations. Neither did Kunis address the issue during her late night talk interview.
