Dancing With the Stars

On Dancing With the Stars tonight, it was Disney Night, and all of the dances had to be unlearned ones performed to a Disney song. Nine celebs started out the show, but by the end of the episode, one of them was eliminated. That person was…read on, to find out!

The dancers gave it all they had on Dancing With the Stars tonight. The first celeb to perform was actress and author, Suzanne Somers. She and her partner, Tony Dovolani, gave a fine performance, dancing a Tango to the Disney song He’s a Tramp from the movie Lady and the Tramp. Unfortunately, the heel of her shoe got caught up in her dress during the performance. The judges gave them the same score that they gave them last week, four 7s, making for a combined total of 28 out of 40 points.

Suzanne had a tough week of rehearsals. She told her dance partner, Tony, that it was difficult to learn a new dance every week, saying she did not think she “can stay on the show.”

The next celeb to dance on Dancing with the Stars was Robert Herjavec, from the TV series, Shark Tank. He and Kym Johnson performed a Quickstep dance to the Mary Poppins song, Step In Time. They were only given scores of four 6s by the judges, for a total of 24 points, putting them in last place, for now.

Then on Dancing With the Stars, soul legend Patti LaBelle and her dance partner, Artem, were up. They performed a lovely and graceful Waltz to the Pinocchio song, When You Wish Upon a Star. The judges awarded them with scores of three 7s and one 6, making a total of 27 out of 40 overall possible points.

The fourth celeb to perform on Dancing With the Stars was Willow Shields. She and Mark Ballas performed a Foxtrot to Alice’s Theme from the Disney animated flick, Alice in Wonderland. They received the highest scores so far of the night from the judges, getting two 8s and two 9s, for a combined total of 34 points. That ensured that they were “safe” at the end of the episode.

After that, the next celeb to hit the Dancing With the Stars dance floor was Chris Soules. He injured a calf muscle, and danced with a leg brace on. He and Witney Carson performed a Quickstep dance to the Hercules song, Zero to Hero. The judges awarded them scores of three 7s and one 6, for a total of 27 points in all. That tied them with the 27 they received last week. Somehow, they were called “safe” at the end of the episode, but they were the last couple to be called “safe.”

The sixth celeb to dance on Dancing With the Stars was Noah Galloway. He and the lovely Sharna Burgess performed a Foxtrot to the Aladdin song, A Whole New World. They actually did a great job, but the judges are giving out some low scores, for the most part, so far tonight, and gave them four 7s, for a total of 28 points. They were also declared “safe” at the end of the show.

After them on Dancing With the Stars, Riker Lynch and Allison Holker danced. Riker is the cousin of Julianna and Derek Hough. He and Allison danced an AMAZING Paso Doble to the Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl song, He’s a Pirate. Riker wore a Jack Sparrow costume, really getting into the theme of the dance. The judges were quite impressed by their incredible performance, and awarded them two 9s and two 10s, for 38 points out of 40. That put them into first place, so far, and they were “safe” at the conclusion of the episode.

Carrie Ann said that the dance was “a beast of a paso.” She called the performance her “favorite paso ever!”

The next celeb to perform on Dancing With the Stars was Rumer Willis. She danced a Samba as Ursula, the villain from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, with Val, to the song Poor Unfortunate Souls. They were awarded scores of three 10s and one 9. Len was the hold-out giving them the 9, for a combined total of 39 points.

Nastia Liukin and her professional dance partner, Derek Hough, the last couple of the evening to dance on Dancing With the Stars, also did great. They danced a Jazz dance, to Love Is an Open Door from Frozen. Nastia performed dressed as Anna. They, also, put on a memorable performance, and impressed the judges. They tied for second place tonight with Riker and Allison, getting two 9s and two 10s from the judges.

At the conclusion of Dancing With the Stars, Disney Night, the moment came when one of the celebs was eliminated. She did a terrific job and danced some memorable dances, but the celeb who was eliminated tonight was…Suzanne Somers.
