They were awarded scores of one 8, two 9s, and one 10 by the judges, making for an overall score of 36 out of 40 points. They were declared “safe” and will be moving on to next week’s show.

The second celeb of the evening to dance on Dancing With the Stars was NFL football player, Michael Sam. He took the stage with Peta Murgatroyd and danced a Rumba to the song from Kinky Boots, Not My Father’s Son. They did much better than last week, when they just got a score of 24 from the judges. This time, they were awarded two 7s and two 8s, for a score of 30 points.

Riker and his partner, Allison Holker, danced a terrific Tango to Walk the Moon’s hit, Shut Up and Dance. They gave an amazing performance, getting two 8s and two 9s from the judges, for a total of 34 out of 40 points, placing them in second place so far tonight. They were the last couple to be called “safe” tonight.

Then, the fourth celebrity to dance on tonight’s episode of Dancing With the Stars was Robert Herjavec, from Shark Tank. He and Kym Johnson performed an awesome Waltz to the Engelbert Humperdinck song, The Last Waltz. They did a bit better than last week, when they had a total score of 29. Tonight, the judges gave them scores of two 8s and two 9s, so they got an overall total of 34 points, like Riker and Allison.

Dancing fifth on Dancing With the Stars was The Bachelor star, Chris Soules. He and Witney Carson danced a Rumba to the Gavin James song, The Book of Love. The judges gave them scores of one 6 and three 7s, for a combined total of 27 points.

Then, the next celebrity to dance on Dancing With the Stars was singer and actress, Patti LaBelle. She and Artem did much better than they did last week, when they only received a score of 22 from the judges. This week, they danced a Jazz dance to Patti LaBelle’s own song, Dan Swit Me. The judges seemed to like what they saw tonight, giving the couple two 7s and two 8s, for a combined total of 30 points.

The seventh celebrity to perform on Dancing With the Stars was actress Rumer Willis. She and Val have consistently been among the couples who have scored the highest totals from the judges, and tonight was no different. They danced a beautiful and cool Waltz to the Adele song, Turning Tables. They received scores of one 8 and three 9s from the judges, earning them a combined total of 35 points tonight. That put them solidly in second place, and easily “safe” from being eliminated.

After they danced, author and actress Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani danced on Dancing With the Stars. They performed a really great Foxtrot to Ray Charles and Julia Rinker’s song, the theme song to the TV series that Somers starred in, Three’s Company, Too. They got four 7s from the judges, earning 28 points in all.

The ninth celeb to dance on Dancing With the Stars was actress Willow Shields. She and Mark Ballas danced a Contemporary dance to Coldplay’s song, Atlas. They really ROCKED this dance OUT, and received the highest scores yet of the evening from the judges. They received scores of one 9 and three 10s, earning 39 out of 40 possible points, placing them in the lead tonight.

Then, the last celeb to take the stage on Dancing With the Stars tonight was combat soldier and personal trainer, Noah Galloway. Noah and Sharna Burgess did really great, also, dancing a Contemporary dance to the Toby Keith song, American Soldier. The judges gave them four 8s for their terrific performance, for a total of 32 points.

Though Michael Sam and Peta did far better tonight than last Monday, they were the couple eliminated tonight on Dancing With the Stars. It was sad seeing them go, as Michael Sam really showed signs of improvement. It was another entertaining episode, filled with some fantastic dancing performances tonight on Dancing With the Stars.
