Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, had a couple of terrific guests on the show this Tuesday, the comedian, actor, and musical artist Jamie Foxx and the actress Carla Gugino from the new T.V. series, Wayward Pines, and also the upcoming movie, San Andreas. The musical guest tonight was Jamie Foxx, and he performed with Kid Ink. Foxx also played Wheel of Musical Impressions with Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon got a standing ovation as he walked out onto the stage. He then did his monologue, joking about news like the fact that it was “Fleet Week” in New York City. He said that members of the Armed Forces are visiting New York City. Then, he said “President Obama has his very own Twitter account. Even Senator McCain said “Welcome to the Internet, grandpa.”

Fallon also joked about Live With Kelly and Michael being in Disneyland this week. He said “Even Goofy said ‘What the h***’s wrong with that guy’s teeth?'” Fallon said that Disneyland will be open 24 hours straight to welcome in the summer.

Jimmy Fallon said “Alan Thicke and his wife just revealed that they like to get freaky to Robin Thicke’s song, Sex Therapy. Which explains why Robin’s new song is called Regular Therapy.” Fallon talked about the new season of The Bachelorette that premiereed last night.

Jimmy Fallon said, once again, that it was Fleet Week tonight. The entire audience was made up of members of the Armed Forces tonight. Fallon said tomorrow night, David Duchovny would be on, and Jeff Foxworthy. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be on this Thursday, and Sting and Meghan Trainor will be on later this week, also. Fallon said tonight’s guests will be Jamie Foxx and actress Carla Gugino, who will star opposite Dwayne Johnson in San Andreas.

Then, Fallon did his weekly Pros & Cons comedy bit, tonight focusing on the “Pros & Cons of Graduating College.” Some examples of what he joked about follow.

“Pro: After four years of hard work you can move on. con: To 50 more years of hard work. Pro: Going four years without one weird roommate. Con: Realizing that you were the that one roommate. Pro: Getting money from your relatives for Graduation Day. Con: Realizing that you spent $5 in gas to go cash your grandmother’s $3 check. Pro: Celebrating by partying all night and letting loose. Con: Or, as we call it in New York, Fleet Week!”

After a commercial break, Jimmy Fallon introduced Jamie Foxx, who just released the album, Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses. Fallon and Jamie Foxx talked about his album, and Foxx sang “half of a black man’s beard,” over and over, and danced a little bit. Foxx will be singing Baby’s in Love later tonight from the album.

While seated, Jamie Foxx sang one of his songs, I’m Supposed to Be in Love By Now. He sounded AMAZING! Fallon said “More Jamie Foxx when we get back, everybody!”

“We all know you can sing and act,” Fallon said to Foxx. He mentioned that Foxx also did impressions. So, he challenged Foxx to a game of Wheel of Musical Impressions. Foxx had to go first and sing Hakuna Matata like Mick Jagger. Foxx stood up, and danced about, strutting like a rooster (or Jagger) singing the words “Hakuna Matata” over and over again.

Fallon had to then sing I Love You You Love Me like Barry Gibb. He was AMAZING! Foxx then had to sing like John Legend, singing the “Toys ‘R’ Us Jingle.” Again, Foxx KILLED! Fallon cracked up, and said “The show’s off the rails tonight.” Next, Fallon sang the “America’s Funniest Home Videos Theme,” as if he was Bruce Springsteen. He NAILED it!

Jamie Foxx did the last one, singing On Top of Spaghetti like Jennifer Hudson. WOW! Foxx really got into the performance — it was uber cool!

Following a break, Jimmy Fallon introduced the second guest of the show, Carla Gugino. She had been Zack’s girlfriend, temporarily, in Saved By the Bell. Fallon showed a photo of her in it. She was also on The Wonder Years, briefly, and Fallon showed a photo of her in that, as well. Carla told Fallon that she did all of her own stunts in San Andreas, all that they would let her do, anyway.

Carla said she did Crossfit Training to get in shape for the role. She did a military push-up to demonstrate, and Fallon joined her. “You wanna go for five?” she asked him. They did all five, and Fallon collapsed on the stage.

Fallon then introduced a clip from San Andreas. In it, Carla and Dwayne were in a speed boat together. It looked, from the brief clip, as if it will be an action-packed movie.

When the Tonight Show came back on after more commercials, Jimmy Fallon introduced Jamie Foxx, once again, this time to sing. Foxx sang Baby’s in Love from his new album, Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses, that just hit stores today. Foxx had on sunglasses and a black hat as he sang. He did a fantastic job singing the song, and the album will likely be a best-seller for him.

The Tonight Show this Tuesday maybe should have been called the Jimmy Fallon and Jamie Foxx Show, because both of them were on the stage so much; but, Jamie Foxx was a terrific and entertaining guest. He played Wheel of Musical Impressions with Fallon, and ended the show singing Baby’s in Love from his new album. Actress Carla Gugino was Jimmy Fallon’s second guest, and she was lovely and also entertaining, talking with Fallon about her upcoming movie with Dwayne Johnson, San Andreas.
