No arrests have yet been made following the fatal shooting of a man in north Minneapolis, which occurred early Sunday morning. Authorities are, however, currently looking for a suspect or suspects who may have been involved in the matter.
Sometime shortly after 2am, gunshots were picked up by a ShotSpotter in the area of North 4th St.’s 2100 block. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered a male who had been subject to gunshot wounds and was seriously injured as a result. Reports have stated that CPR was performed to the best ability of those aiding the victim, and that they did everything they could to rectify the situation prior to an ambulance arriving. However, the man unfortunately died upon being transferred to Minneapolis’s Hennepin County Medical Center.
As for the name or age of the victim, no information on the matter has yet been revealed. As previously mentioned, authorities are still investigating the matter thoroughly in order to better figure out exactly what happened and for what reason.
All that has been said so far is that authorities appropriately canvassed the area of the shooting following its occurrence, and that they are following up on leads given to them surrounding who may have been involved. No one has been arrested yet after the fatal shooting in Minneapolis that left one man dead, and anyone who has any potential information is being asked to contact law enforcement officials immediately.
