San Jose Police on the Look Out for Sex-Offender, Victims Include a 13-Year-Old Girl

San Jose, California police are looking for a man who is a suspect in a couple of sexual assault cases, one of which involves a girl who is 13-years-old. The local law enforcement authorities have asked people to come forward and help them get hold of this man. The police have released three photos of the man who is expected to be close to 30-years-old. He is Caucasian (white), has a beard, a thin build, and of medium height. The man was spotted wearing a blue button-down long-sleeve shirt, light-colored cargo shorts, and a black beanie. He may also be riding a 10-speed-style bicycle which is light blue in color, and is carrying a dark-colored messenger bag.

The incident reported Tuesday, May 5, took place at around 4 p.m., which involved the man following a 13-year-old girl from her school. She was on her way home near Lawrence Expressway and Stevens Creek Boulevard. He jumped at the girl the moment she reached home, and was trying to unlock the door. He pushed herĀ inside and tried to assault her sexually. However, the teenager bravely fought the man, forcing him to escape. When the girl’s parents returned home, she narrated the incident, and that is when they decided to call the police.

San Jose police officers also responded to another report of an attempted sexual assault near the Moorpark avenues and Mitsuwa Market at Saratogo on April 2, close to 1 p.m. As per the report, the man followed a 28-year-old woman into a public restroom, and attempted to sexually assault her. Detective Brandon Scholten is the person who needs to be contacted at 408-277-4102 by anybody who can provide information about the suspect. People providing information leading to arrest of this man would be entitled for a cash reward from the Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers.
