Shooting & Crash Incident in Calgary Leaves Two Injured

Two have been injured in a shooting and car crash incident that occurred in Calgary, Alberta late last night. They are both said to be male.

The car crash was the first to occur, and police responded to a call in the 2200 block of 26th street, SE. Right after arriving to check on the scene, more calls came in regarding a shooting also having occurred. One man was found inside the crashed vehicle upon inspection, and he had been subject to a gunshot wound. Following this, three more men were located who were presumed to have also been in the vehicle at the time of the incident. Only one of them was also injured.

Although the police have stated they do not know yet if the incident was gang-related, none of the victims or associated members of the matter are cooperating with the investigation. It is not presumed to have been a random occurrence, but nobody is yet talking as to what exactly happened and why bullets ended up flying.
