May 18, Monday morning, a three-year-old boy was found stabbed in Cudahy, which is in the Los Angeles area of California. The toddler’s stabbing was called into the Sheriff’s Department at 8:30 a.m. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s, Deputy Kelvin Moody, reported that the boy had been stabbed at the 3800 block of Walnut Street in Cudahy.
When the deputies arrived at the scene, the toddler had a stab wound in his upper torso. The toddler was taken by ambulance to the hospital, and he was thought to have passed away this morning, May 19. A statement released by LASD this morning, referred to the incident as a “stabbing death, according to Moody and Sergeant Ronald Ridley, the child was not anticipated to live. After the statement was released that the toddler had died in the hospital, the LASD sent out another statement, announcing that the boy’s condition was “death imminent.”
The members of the family who had been home, at the time of the stabbing, are giving their statements to homicide detectives, as an investigation is underway. Additional information has not been released, concerning the ongoing investigation.
