Looks like Tyga’s relationship with the young starlet has sparked a love for music in Kylie Jenner. According to US Weekly, Jenner has been working with vocal coaches as of late and could be preparing to release an album. The youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is already a business mogul, author, model, and now may add singer to her repertoire.
From a young age, Kylie Jenner has made the headlines of tabloids and rumor magazines. Whether it was news about her Kardashian brand, obvious rumors about her plastic surgery, and latest news about her relationships, she is no stranger to the public eye. In a way, both her and her super-model sister Kendall Jenner have capitalized on this amount of overexposure.
Kylie Jenner has used her reality television persona and media attention to become a business teen in her own right. Starting with a career in fashion, the young mogul has two nail lacquers under Nicole by OPI nail polish company. It was reported in 2013 that the two designs earned her over 100,000 dollars each for their respective endorsements. Not stopping at just beauty care, the sisters collaborated with PacSun in 2013 and produced their own signature collection. The two have already contributed multiple lines for young teens and adults. 2013 continued to bring the Jenner siblings continued success as they started their own jewlery line with Pascal Mouawad’s Glamhouse.
In 2014, Kylie and Kendall would later collaborate with Steve Madden for their own line of handbags, under the Madden Girl line. Kylie would go on to later launch her own extension line and, eventually, became the brand ambassador for Nip+Fab. Inspired by their older siblings, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe, the teen siblings partnered with British-fashion retailer TopShop for their own exclusive clothing line.
The world of fashion was just not enough for her though. With the success of multiple young-adult fiction novels in recent years, the siblings decided to jump on the reader’s bandwagon. The two enlisted the help of ghostwriter Maya Sloan to produce the sci-fi novel Rebels: City of Indra. With all these ideas and brands to run, the sisters still found time to make multiple public appearances and book several hosting gigs for several movie premieres.
Considering that the teens are well on their way to trying to conquer the young-adult world of fashion and fiction, it was only a matter a time before sights were set on entertainment. In 2014, rumors began to surface that Tyga and Kylie had become romantic involved. The then 16-year-old fashionista is reported to always have her sights set on entertainment and pop-culture and her partnering with Tyga could only lead to the studio.
Rapper Tyga, born Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, has had his fair share of success in the rap world and is no stranger to collaboration. Exploding onto the scene in 2007 with a widely successful mixtape Young On Probation drew in a large fanbase and later would award him a record deal with the eclectic Young Money Records. Tyga would later go on to work with R&B-crooner Chris Brown for the unexpected Fan of a Fan mixtape, which produced the Grammy nominated single Deuces.
Although there is no word yet on when the public is expect a track or album from Kylie, the rumor mill is still heavy with information. Sources close to mom-mager Kris Jenner claim that the teen is already taking vocal lessons, getting plenty of advice from Kanye West and Pia Mia, and has Tyga penning a majority of her lyrics. Only time will tell whether Jenner can add ‘singer’ to her growing mantle, but it is up to the public to love it or hate it.
