Jared Padalecki has called out Delta airlines on Facebook in an open letter to their customer service. The letter comes in response to a flight the actor took in which his carry on bag was apparently taken at the gate to be checked. As Padalecki explains in the post, after he arrived at his seat an employee of Delta came on board to give him a ticket for his bag, with news that he would actually not be able to get his bag back at the gate as he was previously informed.
Not only was he misinformed about where he would be able to get his bag, but apparently the flight was not full and therefore there would actually have been room for his carry on in the overhead compartment. Although Padalecki is calling out Delta on Facebook for the customer service that he received, as he says in the post, it is about more than how he was treated, but also about how all travelers are treated by the airline. While the actor does seem unhappy with the service he received, his letter is still respectful and honest in regards to what happened.
Although it is not clear where the actor is headed from the post in question, Padalecki has been on set filming the next season of Supernatural. It is possible that the actor was headed to the San Diego Comic-Con in order to take part in panels related to the show. Whether or not the actor is indeed flying to Comic-Con or not, it appears that this was not a good experience with the airline. The open letter calling out Delta can be found on Padalecki’s Facebook page.
