Taylor Swift Dazzles in New Jersey

Taylor Swift kicked off her 1989 World Tour on July 1o, at Metlife Stadium, New Jersey, and dazzled a crowd of 60,000 screaming “Swiftie”fans. The twenty-five year old songstress, who crafted her first song at the age of 5 is touring the U.S. till December. The country\pop star stopped hearts and tweeting thumbs as she brought out Nick Jonas during the show. Swift, who used to date the pop star’s sibling, Joe Jonas, excited the screaming crowd with her version of Jealous. Tween locker room moments like that are what keep the kitten loving superstar shining in the music universe.

During her performance of her smash hit Style, the superstar rolled out the newly crowned U.S.Women’s National Team. The electric crowd roared as the champions strutted and danced on stage with the pop sensation. They presented the hostess with a Swift#13 jersey. The soccer champs could only dream of the global popularity they would have  if the pop sensation was actually their team captain. The “Swifties”, Taylor’s dedicated fans, flew off their seats when R&B performer The Weekend performed his hit Can’t feel my Face. Taylor Swift Dazzles in New Jersey

The Pennsylvania native sang over 18 songs during her kitty cat performance and shared opening acts with Shawn Mendes, Vance Joy and Haim. Recently the 25-year-old country singer became the first female on Billboard’s Hot 100 in it’s 56 year history to replace her own bubblegum hit Shake it Off. Both songs are from her new album, 1989, which is appropriately named after the pop star’s birthday.

1989 has sold over six million copies to date. Barring her estranged relationships and breakups, the guitar playing artist from Reading PA, has proven that her songs and maturity as an artist, are what make her so beloved by her fans.

Taylor Swift’s dazzling New Jersey performance, puts the popular star in a category above the rest. One fan said, the concert was “that kind of night.” Her emotionally filled ballots such as Love Story, catered to moms, daughters, broken-hearted tweens and basically every tight pigtail that filled the stadium seats, but then again, what little girl can resist a stage filled with purple guitars and kittens.

Country music’s popular songstress also payed homage to the “eighties” with her Fine Young Cannibals and Tiffany Mix Tape performance. She is a performer who knows exactly how to hold hands and enjoy a good song with her audience. The six-time Grammy Award winner did not hold back her emotions as she shared her feelings of insecurities, friendships and fair weather fall outs with her loyal fans. The star said to her fans,” There are two requirements, you have to like me, just a little… and you have to spend time with me,” and that’s exactly what they did.

The dazzling Taylor Swift said that she was surrounded by 60,000 of her friends in the New Jersey stadium. Her last album has made her the new pop princess, and her ticket sales and overwhelming popularity from Swiftie BFFs will soon make her Queen. Taylor’s fans call her” Tay-Tay” because nicknames are what bonds friendships, and on that electrifying night, the 25-year-old princess of pop sang to a sold out stadium with her best and closest friends.
