iPhone 6 Nears the End of Its Reign

Iphone 6

It’s that time of year again! When Apple takes out a day to put all the rumors to rest regarding their latest products. The Iphone 6 will end its reign as the official smart phone of the tech giant on September 9, 2015. As is the recent tradition with Apple, the next phone includes an ‘s’ in its name, and also offers a host of new features, components and geeky improvements surely to be well received. The iPhone 6 was Apple’s first attempt to compete for consumers who preferred a larger device, which surprised even the most watchful crowd of new technology. This is because during a press conference in 2010, Steve Jobs, Apple CEO at the time, is quoted as saying, “no one’s going to buy that,” after comments were made in response to the antenna issue of the Iphone 4. When critics suggested making the phones bigger.

Steve Jobs actually worked on the Iphone 6 prior to his passing, and was apparently wrong in his assessment. On the day that the two new models broke the iPhone size barrier, CEO Tim Cook referred to them as, “the biggest advancement in the history of the iPhone.” More statements such as these are to be expected on the upcoming big day. Each new release of the Iphone has traditionally held up to its pre-release hype and conjecture. The new Iphone 6S and 6S plus are a little thicker than its predecessor, has a better camera and will feature rose gold as a new color option, according to THE VERGE. For those who are not looking forward to end of the reigning Iphone 6, the good news is that the end actually creates significant opportunities.

Traditionally there is a huge demand for Apple products of any type and plenty of companies willing to purchase older devices from those intending to upgrade. One such company Gazelle, guarantees to offer the best price for iPhones and pays cash. All that stands in the way of someone willing to give up their beloved smart phone and cash, is three simple steps:

  1. Get a free offer by simply answering a few questions.

  2. Ship the device on their dime (free shipping).

  3. Choose to either receive payment via Pay Pal or an amazon.com gift card.

According to USA Today, Gazelle is among other companies willing to pay top dollar for older models of the Iphone, regardless of condition, such as Apple, Target, Game Stop and Amazon. Just to name a few and to offer hope. After all, it saddens some current owners to realize the end is near and the reign of the Iphone 6 will soon be replaced by the Iphone 6S and 6S plus. However, upon the horizon is a better device, with coveted upgrades and cool new apps that will make the Iphone 6 a soon distant memory.
