Convenience Store Robbed at Knife Point

The Miami Police Department’s Robbery Division detectives are interested in finding out the identity of a young man who walked into the Golden Market located at 501 Northwest 12 Avenue, at approximately 6:30 P.M. EST, on Feb. 29, 2016, and robbed the store at knifepoint.

According to detectives, the subject walked into the store with a gray shirt wrapped around his right arm, approached the cash register, leaned over the counter while the victim was assisting another customer, pulled a knife from under the shirt, and demanded money from the register. As the victim yelled, “Call the police,” the subject fled.

Subject Description: White Hispanic male, 5’6″ to 5’8” tall, 180-200 pounds, last seen wearing a white polo shirt and dark-colored jeans, with a gray shirt wrapped around his arm.
